החיים במכללה האקדמית להנדסה בישראל מאופיינים בשילוב בין דרישות אקדמיות מחמירות לבין סביבה תומכת, ערכית ורוחשת כבוד להבדלים אישיים ותרבותיים. הסטודנטים שלנו נהנים מיום לימודים מובנה הכולל שיעורים עיוניים, מעבדות מעשיות, סדנאות תכנון, וזמן ייעודי ללמידה עצמאית – כל זאת בקמפוס מטופח, שקט וירוק.
הקמפוס מציע גם מתקני נופש וספורט, פינות ישיבה מוצלות, אזורי למידה שיתופיים, ומרחבים פתוחים לפעילות חוץ־כיתתית.
הסטודנטים המעוניינים לשמור שבת ימצאו סביבה המכבדת את שמירת השבת והמסורת היהודית, כולל חדרי מנוחה, ארוחות מותאמות, ותיאום לוחות זמנים בהתאם לצרכים הדתיים.
מצוינות אקדמית והכשרה מעשית
ECI מציבה רף גבוה לכלל תלמידיה – הדרישות האקדמיות הן חלק בלתי נפרד מהחזון שלנו להכשרת מהנדסים ומתכננים ברמה בינלאומית.
סטודנטים נדרשים לעמוד בהגשות שוטפות, להשתתף בפרויקטים קבוצתיים, ולעבור בחינות מסכמות קפדניות. צוות המרצים מעניק ליווי אישי ומעמיק לכל תלמיד, תוך הקפדה על איכות ההוראה ועל התאמת החומר לרמה המקצועית הגבוהה ביותר.
תכניות הלימוד: הנדסה אזרחית ותכנון ערים
הנדסה אזרחית ב־ECI כוללת מגוון תחומים, בהם:
- הנדסת מבנים
- הנדסת תשתיות ודרכים
- הנדסת מים וניקוז
- הנדסת קרקע וחוזק חומרים
- בטיחות, חישובים סטטיים ויישומים סביבתיים
תכנון ערים ויישובים מתמקד בהבנה מעשית ותיאורטית של:
- עיצוב עירוני מודרני
- פיתוח והתחדשות של מרחבים בנויים קיימים
- ניתוח שימושי קרקע
- תכנון מערכות תחבורה מתקדמות
- פיתוח מערכות תחבורה ציבורית כמו רכבת קלה, מערכת מטרו, מרחבים הליכתיים ורשתות שבילי אופניים
סטודנטים משתתפים בפרויקטים יישומיים המשולבים עם גופים ממשלתיים ורשויות מקומיות, כחלק מההכשרה לקראת תפקידי מפתח בשוק העבודה.
תנאי קבלה
לצורך קבלה ללימודים, על המועמדים:
- להחזיק תעודת סיום לימודים (מהתיכון או מוסד מקביל) בציון ממוצע של 90% ומעלה
- לעבור מבחן כניסה פנימי בציון של לפחות 90%
- להראות שליטה בסיסית בשפה העברית (לא נדרש רמת שפת אם)
המכללה פתוחה בפני מועמדים מישראל ומהעולם, וסטודנטים מכל רקע מוזמנים להגיש מועמדות.

Daily Life on Campus
Student life at ECI blends rigorous academic standards with a supportive, values-oriented environment that respects cultural and personal differences. Each day includes structured coursework, hands-on labs, collaborative design workshops, and dedicated time for independent study — all taking place on a quiet, green, and modern campus.
The campus also includes recreational and sports facilities, shaded seating areas, shared study spaces, and outdoor activity zones.
For students who observe Shabbat, ECI offers a respectful and accommodating environment, including resting spaces, Shabbat-friendly meals, and scheduling considerations in accordance with Jewish tradition.
Academic Excellence & Practical Training
ECI maintains a high academic bar across all its programs. Students are expected to complete regular assignments, participate in team projects, and pass comprehensive exams. Faculty members offer close, individual guidance and uphold the highest teaching and professional standards in engineering education.
Programs: Civil Engineering & Urban Planning
Civil Engineering at ECI includes several concentrations:
- Structural Engineering
- Transportation & Roadway Engineering
- Water Systems & Drainage
- Soil Mechanics & Materials Strength
- Safety, Load Calculations, and Environmental Applications
Urban Planning focuses on both theory and hands-on practice in:
- Modern city design
- Redevelopment and adaptive reuse of built spaces
- Land use planning
- Advanced transportation systems
- Development of mass transit infrastructure including light rail, metro rail, walkable urban corridors, and bike networks
Students gain real-world experience through partnerships with municipalities, planning agencies, and infrastructure authorities as part of their degree path.
Admissions Requirements
To apply for admission, students must:
- Hold a diploma from high school or an equivalent institution with a final average of 90% or above
- Pass ECI’s internal entrance exam with a minimum score of 90%
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of Hebrew (native fluency is not required)
